Modernization Fund – New electricity production capacities from renewable wind and solar energy sources – Agricultural Sector and Food Industry – State aid scheme published in the Official Gazette
Eligible Beneficiaries
Micro-enterprises, small and medium-sized enterprises, large enterprises in the agricultural sector and the food industry whose main or secondary activity is the production of electricity (CAEN 3511 – Electricity production) (at the latest at the time of contracting, the activity of CAEN code 3511 must be authorized as main or secondary activity).
The amount of financing:
For Wind Energy:
- 1,400,000 euros/MW – for installed capacities
smaller than 1 MW inclusive;
- 700,000 euros/MW – for installed capacities
greater than 1 MW.
For Solar Energy:
- 1,000,000 euros/MW – for installed capacities
smaller than 1 MW inclusive; - 500,000 euros/MW – for installed capacities
greater than 1 MW.
Financial Allocation
20.000.0000 Eur/Entreprise
The estimated total budget of the scheme is 500,000,000 euros,
from which:
- For projects with installed capacities greater than 1 MW
(wind and solar energy): 200,000,000 euros - For projects with installed capacities lower than 1 MW
(including) (wind and solar energy): 300,000,000 euros
Supported activities
- The purchase of installations/equipment for the construction of new electricity production capacities from renewable wind and solar energy sources, with or without storage;
- Constructions that are the object of the project to produce electricity from renewable wind and solar energy sources, with or without storage.
