ADR Centru is revising to allocate funds to the business sector based on project rankings. Date: October 19, 2023 Of late, ADR Centru has been alerted by numerous potential financiers about potential challenges in companies securing competitive financing and arising scenarios potentially diminishing fair chances. Acting as the Management Authority for the “Center Region” 2021-2027 initiative, ADR Centru has begun revising the selection process under Intervention 1.4.1 – Tech advancements for SMEs, reference PRC/ 110/PRC_P1/OP1.
Consequently, ADR Center announces Corrigendum no. 4 for this directive, extending the application submission timeframe from December 11, 2023, midday to February 12, 2024, midday. Following this, the Center Regional Development Agency intends to suggest to the Center PR Oversight Committee that project selections from businesses should hinge on the scores each funding application garners.
“We are committed to responding to the needs of people and every type of potential applicant for financing with whom we work, whether they are public authorities, representatives of civil society or the business environment of the Central Region. As a result of notifications regarding calls for projects for the private sector, we are preparing the procedure for convening the Monitoring Committee of the Center Region – the only entity that can approve the change in the project selection methodology – to guarantee a fair approach to the competition between companies in the region. We have analyzed all options and are postponing the opening of the call for projects for investments in new technologies for SMEs, with a view to changing the project selection methodology.
We believe that we will thus give everyone a break to increase the quality of the prepared funding applications.
